Liz has over 35 years’ experience working in the advice, health and voluntary sector including Deaf and Disabled People’s Organisations (DDPOs) and a Carers’ Centre. She has previously worked as an adviser and a manager for the CAB; worked for a Primary Care Trust improving access to primary care for Disabled and BAME residents; worked for a DDPO leading on a range of projects with Local Authority, Health and Housing providers to improve access to their services and worked for Carers UK running a Carers’ Centre. She has also supported a number of London based DDPOs on various projects since 2017. Liz has previously served as a trustee and vice chair of Citizens Advice Sefton, leading on equality and diversity issues. Liz is keen to ensure all of the residents of Formby have fair and equal access to the work undertaken by the Parish Council and to protect our environment for a greener and sustainable future
