Paul was co-opted into Formby Parish Council in September 2024.
Paul has lived in Formby for 9 years with his wife, 2 children and 2 dogs. Paul wanted to join the Parish Council because he has seen how it protects the interests of its residents and Formby’s natural habitat, adding a lot more to Formby as a whole by delivering local initiatives that really make a difference to the residents, including additional street lighting, decorative lighting, planting and so-on.
Paul has years of project and programme management experience and has worked with Liverpool Council, Lancashire County Council and Lancashire Constabulary HQ (Preston) as an I.T. project consultant for BT as a programme delivery lead on joint ventures with both councils and the Police.
Paul hopes to provide valuable real-world programme delivery and financial management from his professional life, as well as his genuine passion for supporting Formby Village, it’s residents and the environment as a whole, which he knows will benefit Formby Parish Council and residents too.
