Registration is now open to volunteer with the NHS COVID-19 vaccine team.

The COVID-19 vaccination programme continues to be rolled out in Sefton – the biggest in NHS history – and GP-led services in the borough are looking for volunteers to help support the safe and smooth running of this work.

A coordinated effort is important to ensure that as many people across Sefton receive the vaccination safely and effectively.

If you are over 18, healthy and low risk, you can sign-up to become a Sefton COVID-19 Vaccination Volunteer and help others in Sefton.

There are a range of different roles, depending on availability and preference. Volunteers can sign-up to the following roles:

  • Welcoming patients and general administration work
  • Marshalling outside or inside areas, ensuring smooth flow of patients and the maintenance of social distancing
  • Support with logistics and ensuring supplies are in place
  • Assisting in the recovery area
