Latest News

On Friday 27th June, 9.30am, Sefton Support Group, 1 Duke Street, Formby L37 4AL Stemcell Scousers are holding a community wellbeing session.

One of the main objectives is to raise awareness of the signs of blood cancer and blood disorders as too many blood cancer patients are late diagnosed. They will be sharing important information on:

  • The critical shortage of stem cell donors worldwide.
  • The importance of blood and platelet donation.
  • How you can register as a donor and potentially help save a life.
  • Common misconceptions about stem cell and blood donation.
  • The life-changing impact that donors have on patients in need.

This session is a unique opportunity to learn how a simple act of kindness—such as registering as a donor—can make a difference in someone’s life.

It is free to attend and although registration is not required, it does help them to prepare for the number of attendees on the day.
