All members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend the Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council, which will be held on Monday 20 July 2026 at 7pm at the Library, Duke Street, Formby.

1. To receive Apologies and approve apologies for absence for any Cllr who has submitted a valid reason.
2. To Receive Declarations of Interest
3.  To adjourn the meeting for the Public Forum
4. Previous Minutes
   1. To consider and approve the Minutes of the Meeting held on 15 June 2026.
5. Matters of Report from Previous Meetings – for information only
   1. To note the survey for residents regarding beach traffic is now available on the Parish Council website
6. Chairman’s Report
7. Planning Applications – (available on Sefton Council’s website)
8. To Discuss and Resolve the following:
   1. To note the cost of £606.45 for the removal of the damaged lectern and making good of the pavement
   2. To discuss and approve the quotes for the restoration of the old village stocks and cross.
   3. To approve the expenditure of £10,000 from the earmarked budget for the Chindit “mythical lion head” for the memorial.
   4. To approve a budget of £6000 for the school Xmas hampers for vulnerable families and biscuits for luncheon club members.
   5. To approve the cost of repairing/replacing the faulty halo light at the fire station crossing.
   6. To approve the purchase of a Christmas tree and dressing of the Christmas tree as per the budget
   7. To approve the expenditure for the Christmas lights switch on event to be held on Thursday 19 November 2026 as per the budget
   8. To note the expenditure for blinds in the office – Finance minutes refer
   9. To note the expenditure for a cooling unit in the office – Finance minutes refer
   10. To approve the expenditure for a replacement notice board at the Library – Finance minutes refer
   11. To discuss the upcoming Community Governance Review regarding the proposed grouping of the Formby and Little Altcar Parish Councils.
