Thursday 23 November saw residents come out to watch the the village Christmas lights switch on and enjoy the fairground rides and stalls from the local traders.
On stage we enjoyed Christmas songs from the local schools and performing arts choirs from Freshfield Primary school, Make Noise 2 choir, Miss A’s Dance school, St Luke’s Primary school, Formby School of Dance and Make Noise choir. The lights were switched on by Father Christmas and a few children from Formby School of Dance. Despite the rain early on in the evening, we had a good crowd of people turn out to enjoy the evening.
