On Thursday 21st November 2024, we had a fantastic time switching on the lights in Formby village.
We had our largest audience yet with visitors coming to watch the the village Christmas lights being switched on and enjoy the fairground rides and stalls from the local traders. You may have also seen some of your favourite children’s characters having fun with the children who included, Princess Belle, Princess Cinderella, Princess Aurora, Peppa Pig, Bluey, Hey Dougie, Chase and Marshall, Igglepiggle, Woody and Buzz and many more.
On stage we had our largest number of performances from:
- Rock Choir
- Freshfield Primary
- St Lukes Primary
- Make Noise Junior Choir
- Woodlands Primary
- Miss A’s Dance School
- Make Noise Adult Choir
- Formby School of Dance
- DJ Alex Toal to finish
Joining us on stage to switch the lights on this year were Father Christmas, a few children from Miss A’s Dance School, Peppa Pig, Bluey, Hey Dougie, Chase and Marshall, Igglepiggle, Woody and Buzz, Elf on the Shelf, Coco Melon and Po.
