Notice of the Annual Meeting of Formby Parish Council

All members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend the Ordinary Meeting of the Parish Council, which will be held on Monday 18 May 2026 at 7pm at the Library, Duke Street, Formby.

  1. To elect a Chairman for 2026-27, who will then sign the “Declaration of Acceptance of Office”.
  2. To elect a Vice Chairman for 2026-27, who will then sign the “Declaration of Acceptance of Office”.
  3. To receive Apologies
    1. To resolve to approve apologies for absence for any Cllr who has submitted a valid reason for absence.
  4. To Receive Declarations of Interest
  5. To adjourn the meeting for the Public Forum

    1. To consider and approve the Minutes of the Ordinary Meeting held on 20 April 2026

    1. To receive the Internal Auditors Report
    2. To approve the annual governance statement section 1

  13. To Discuss and Resolve the following:
    1. To approve the quote for the renewal of the Insurance at £2465.76 including vat and whether to renew the insurance for 1 or 3 years.
    2. To approve the Risk Assessment for 2026-2027
    3. To approve the payment dates for staff salaries for the year to 31 May 2027.
    4. To approve the schedule of meeting dates for the year to 30 April 2027.
    5. To approve the wording for the plaque for Duke Street Park – Environment and Finance minutes refer
    6. To approve the purchase of a replacement laptop for the Clerk
  14. To approve Payments.
